And guess what, those awesome Opepen pieces were minted for free earlier this year as part of an open-edition collection. Signifying, there was no cap on how many could be crafted in a specific time window.

And guess what? A total of 16,000 NFTs were eventually claimed by eager collectors.

This virtual exchange triggered something magical, something that spun Opepen's legacy in a whole new direction.

Observing the days-long discussion, Jack Butcher crafted a special Opepen for ThreadGuy - resonating with the color-scheme of the influencer’s MAYC NFT, and revealed the same on 13th July 2023.

The result?

Well, ThreadGuy finally changed his profile picture to the new image, overwhelmed by the amazing gesture.

But wait, Butcher wasn't content with just that! He went the extra mile by introducing something new – the Opepen Threadition, an open-edition collection.

Opepen Threadition featured a tokenized rendition of the custom PFP he crafted for ThreadGuy. And the best part is, everyone could jump into the excitement by snagging one for about $2 (that's approximately 0.001 ETH).

Butcher's generosity turned into a golden ticket for Opepen's primary project. It boosted the value of its 4,100 unique NFT holders.
